By kind permission of the Marquess of Salisbury, Candlelight Opera are pleased to return to Hatfield with the beautifull costumed performance of Tchaikovsky's interpretation of Pushkin's novel in verse. The music of Tchaikovsky perfectly expresses the intensity of the romance and captures brilliantly the atmosphere of both provincial and cosmopolitan Russia.
This historic venue is home to some magificent works of fine art and antiques. Audience are invited to arrive early from 6.30 pm to enjoy a private access tour of the State Appartments before taking their seats for the evening's performance.
